This tour of the southwestern coast of Vietnam can be planned as a sidetrip from Chau Doc, but you also have the option to fly from Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 01 : Ho Chi Minh City or Chau Doc to Ha Tien
Visit Oc Eo Relics and Cultural Museum, Oc Eo Ancient City in Sap Mountain, the vestige of Funan Kingdom remained from the 1st century to the 7th century A.D. Overnight in Ha Tien.

Day 02: Ha Tien and Return

• You can further extend your trip to the southwestern coast by taking a boat or plane to Phu Quoc Island, which lies 30 miles from Ha Tien and is fast becoming a dream getaway destination. This is an ideal place to take some time to relax on the beach, bathe in mountain streams, and explore forest trails.
• Combine with our tour of the Mekong River and don't forget to add our 2-day tour of Ho Chi Minh City at the beginning or end of your trip. Note: the Museum of History in Ho Chi Minh City has several rooms dedicated to the archeological relics of Funnan and the early Khmer sculptures of the lower Mekong.
